The Real Deal is a collection of card games that can be played online against other humans, or against chatty computer opponents. Playing against computers that chat reminds me of the Hoyle game by Sierra. The computer opponents are stereotypes of everything from cowboys to black women to grandmothers, and some of the things they say aren't politically correct. There are 12 computer opponents, four in each of three difficulty levels. The 10 games in the collection are Crazy Eights, Spades, Auction Pitch, Hearts, Cribbage, Euchre, Whist, Oh Hell!, Thirty One, and Pinochle. Only the intermediate opponents, and 3 games (Hearts, Whist, and Thirty One) are available in the shareware version.
