Monster Truck Madness  1996

Monster Truck Madness is an early DirectX racing and simulation game with a variety of real-life monster trucks and racing modes. Originally developed as a DOS monster truck simulator called Metal Crush, Microsoft commissioned Terminal Reality to convert the game to Win32 (the demo included a copy of DirectX 2). Only Circuit mode is available in the demo, and only Bigfoot and Carolina Crusher can participate in the race. Players can view the game from either an in-truck (cockpit) camera or a chaser camera. The entire race can be replayed and viewed from cameras located around the track, any of the trucks' cockpits, the Goodyear Blimp, or chaser cams, and from any angle. There are 12 trucks in this game, with only 2 playable in the shareware version.
