Here's a 3D Tetris game I wrote along with now famous cosmology professor Max Tegmark back in the 1990s.
We released into the free way back.

Also comes in a more advanced Mac version that requires pretty old hardware to run.
Enjoy,

Those are some good looking games! I don't think I've ever seen fractals in a Tetris game before. I also think it's the first time I've seen it in an EGA program (I've seen it in CGA, though!).
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

Wow that's amazing Max Tegmark was involved! Thanks for posting!
@DOSGuy: Does the MANDEL.BAS example that came with QuickBASIC (which looks like this) count as an EGA fractal program?

Interesting! I had a copy of QuickBASIC 4.5, but I don't remember that program.

Now I suddenly remember that I wrote fractal programs in turbo pascal a few years ago!Malvineous wrote:@DOSGuy: Does the MANDEL.BAS example that came with QuickBASIC (which looks like this) count as an EGA fractal program?

@permb, the links you posted are dead now. Would you or anyone else be able to upload frac4d?
P.S. I knew Max at Berkeley. He once helped me plan a trip to Göteborg.

The pages are preserved by the Wayback Machine:

You can download Frac4D as well, but not the original Frac (maybe somewhere else).
UPD: Found a version from 1990, don't know what version number yet: FRAC.ZIP.
