Totally agreed. Heretic is a great game that doesn't quite compare to Doom except for the tech. But it's still quite good (the graphics/design are great) and came as a breath of fresh air to me. BTW There's an earlier shareware beta version that was also publically released 2 days before the initial shareware release. Other than that I don't know what the filename is

I'm pretty sure this is it. It's not very interesting though, it's mostly identical to the shareware version.
