I just thought I would share this project which has been posted on the Commander Keen forum. Chocoloate Keen is a reverse-engineering project, the goal of which is to generate a source for the Commander Keen Vorticons games that can be compiled for modern operating systems. The clone is designed to remain as true to the original as closely as possible. To play, just drop chocolate_keen.exe in your Keen folder and run.

So we have Chocolate Keen and Commander Genius now?

Chocolate Keen is light-years better at least in my opinion. Commander Genius never felt like you were playing the original game, just some random platformer with Keen graphics. Chocolate Keen on the other hand feels completely like the original, just like Netkeen. Awesome projects if you ask me. Shame the official source code was never released...
