Hi everyone,
I'm new here, and I hope I have found the right place.
I remember playing a graphical adventure game, running in DOS, back in the late 80's (maybe 1987 or 1988). It was based on the story Alice in Wonderland (by Lewis Carroll) and incredibly well illustrated and animated.
The game was a classic adventure, where the player had to travel through the game world collecting objects, solving riddless and games. I looked for reference on the web but couldn't find any. Does anyone here remember it, still owns it or has found references to it? I'd really like to play it again, or at least see some screenshots and learn more about it.
FWIW, I think it was from an UK publisher.
TIA,
pecus

Re: Alice in Wonderland
There have been many games based on Alice in Wonderland (http://www.mobygames.com/game-group/ali ... land-games), but it sounds like you're remembering the 1985 Apple II and Commodore 64 game from Windham Classics.
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

Re: Alice in Wonderland
i can't be much sure of my memory, but the link you pointed to refers to a text-based game. it could be that this http://www.mobygames.com/game/wonderland is what I remember, but it doesn't feel right. if i have a chance to find it, i'll try and play it.
it could also be that what I remember are cut scenes of the text-based game, like when transitioning from one "world" to another. but again, i can't be sure (and I don't find cutscenes listed anywhere in the DOS version of the windham game).
thanks anyway,
pecus

Re: Alice in Wonderland
I don't believe there was a DOS version of the Windham game. They're linking a 1989 DOS text adventure to the 1985 graphical Apple II and Commodore 64 games of the same name. The 1989 DOS game doesn't have publisher or developer information and doesn't mention Windham Classics anywhere. There's no way that a 1989 text adventure is the same game as a 1985 graphical adventure, so I've reported the error.
