Waarom lukt het mij toch niet!!!!

Hulp gevraagd bij oud spel: London City 2000, van Aditus uit 1993. Ik heb XP; geprobeerd met ScummVM, D-Fend v2, en Dosbox 0.72. ScummVM werkt niet. Krijg het in D-fend veel slechter. Werkt nog het beste met de Dosbox. Alleen bij de filmschermpjes stort de film in, en krijg ik een soort gekleurde magnetische storm te zien. Wie heeft er nog een suggestie voor me? Bij voorbaat dank!

install.exe of zoiets ?

ScummVM doesn't list London C.I.T.Y. 2000 as a supported game, so there's no help there. D-fend is a front-end for DOSBox, so it's still DOSBox that you're using when you use D-fend. If it works worse than DOSBox v0.72, you may have D-fend associated with an older version of DOSBox that you haven't uninstalled.

I don't have a copy of London C.I.T.Y. 2000 to test it myself, so I have no advice for you. If it doesn't work in DOSBox, you should let the DOSBox Crew know about it by posting in their forum.

This is an English forum.

It is, but there are some helpful visitors who speak other languages, and I have access to some handy web tools for translation. I have always hoped that Classic DOS Games would reach an international audience, and that means that I'm happy to have people helping each other in other languages. In an attempt to make the site friendly to members whose mother tongue isn't English, I've installed language packs for the forum in most European Union languages.

a game from 93 usually comes with a install.exe or setup.exe

if it doesn't try looking for a file with the extension .CFG and try editing that.

Else try the main executable /?

0.72 isn't perfect though. You might have stumbled on a bug.
