I spent WAY too much time playing this one. For some reason it was the one 2D fighting game on the PC I could actually stand, possibly because of tournament mode (fully customizable characters using money won from battles) and the right mix of controllability and speed. I spent real money for the registered version, and somewhere I probably still have the very nice glossy manual and move guide that came with it.

In standard single player my brother and I would spend hours trying to outdo each other's high scores. Beating Fire and Ice is key, of course, but it wasn't until we discovered the hidden difficulty settings that things really got crazy - I think every score on best 2 of 3 was above 60 million.

Great fighting game, one of few I enjoyed. Graphics/sounds are great. Gameplay is addictive, but it does get somewhat repetitive (my main criticism for most fighting games) near the end though. But still, very much worth checking out (as is the sequel, OMF: Battlegrounds).
