The commercial version of Descent. Essentially just more of the same, but this one has some technical improvements to the game engine and a pretty awesome CD-audio soundtrack. If you liked the first one, you'll like this.

It's also 640x480x256 and 800x600x256 capable. The higher-res artwork has new weapon graphic renders with differenting hues/contrast and I prefer those over the old VGA oens

I knew that, but the "superhires" option doesn't work in the shareware version, so I can't take a screenshot of the higher resolution modes.
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

The game's listed in the year 1995, but the full retail release came out around March 1996 and is mostly considered a 1996 game. This demo's an early preview
