Search for Puzzle Game with an ape

I'm searching for a DOS puzzle game that I played a long time ago (~1990). Afaik it was called Ape or similar - at least I ran the file ape.exe afaik.
It is one of these tetris like puzzle games where you need to eleminate different kinds of blocks with the same type of block. Afaik there were bananas and other fruit blocks that came from the top and needed to be placed on the other blocks in the correct way. If I can remember correctly there was also an image of an ape next to the playing field. I can't say for sure but the graphic was the usual 320x200 mode.

I've searched many sites for a long time. Maybe you can help finding it?
