Strangely, I was never able to get the shareware version to run. On any system.

Having a good compatible sound card helps. I first played this on my 486 120 and it ran pretty well

I give 8 points. Why, when there is nothing great in this game?
IQ of cpu is not great. There is nothing so great in upgrades for car. Graphics are ok, not great. Sounds are actually pretty simple. Not boring but not great either.
Basic idea of this game was used allready many times before this game. Tracks are not great. Steering and control of car is not great.
There is nothing great in this game but there is nothing bad either.
This is a excellent example of a game, that is good enough and bug free, to keep player interest up long as possible even when the game itself is not so great.
7 points + 1 extra point because of all those weeks i did play this game with my friend.

Sort of. There's a free Windows port.

Hmm... Somehow I get the feeling you've already sent an e-mail to Remedy asking if it's okay for you to upload the DOS version to Classic DOS Games. :-)

Hmm. It's a shame to be that predictable.

No, DOS version still commercial. Remedy said that themselves on their forum.
Which is a total shame, since the Windows version lacks multiplayer, and crashes often.

I never got a response from my email to them, either.
