Re: Super Angelo
Fun fact: This started life out as a 64kb demo in 1993 or 94 or 95, one of those years. I can't find the original archive for this.
Sad fact: Some credit stealing thief tried to derive from it by making a loader with someone else taking full credit for all of it, and sell it as shareware under a new title, "Mario!!!". This person is not the same author of Super Angelo or Charlie the Duck, it's a credit stealing faker, probably with adhd judging from how the readmes are written. I've come across two MARIO!!! versions - one dated august 95, and one in september 95 (though the game's actual executable is identically unchanged. All he did was add a loader that delays, begs for money, fake changelist (fixes crash on some japanese computers? HAHA LIKE YOU WOULD EVER KNOW THAT THIEF LOL) and launches a different exe. in the sep 95 version he even adds his list of scammed victims).
I wonder if the author of Super Angelo ever persued him in a lawsuit.
