Typhoon introduces himself

Hello everyone!
I've joined this forum because of two reasons: first, I'd like to find where/how to play the games of my childhood (Red Baron, Raptor Call of the Shadows, Aces of the Deep...), and second, I'd like to either mod Tyrian 2000 or create a similar game, just WW2-themed.
And both "quests" led me here, I hope I'll be able to learn what I need!
