Hallfiry's Photo Albums

A while ago, when visiting my Grandma, I discovered a few old photo albums and some cigar boxes with loose photos. I took them with me, as she said she doesn't look at them anyway. Thos albums span a range from around 1900 to 1970. For a first test, I scanned the album that roughly covers my grandmother's childhood (she was born in 1934 in Germany):

I'm planning on adding some additional documentation, like transcriptions of the photo captions and their backsides (for those that aren't glued in).
Maybe I'll scan one or two more albums later today. Especially the albums from the 60s and 70s should be interesting. My grandfather was a well-paid engineer and thus could afford a lot of travelling (additonally, he had to visit many conferences). Therefore, there are many photos from places around the (old) world, mostly Europe, northern Africa and the Middle East. (When my grandpa was still alived we used to call him and grandma Reiseopa and Reiseoma, literally Travelgrandpa and Travelgrandma, because they were travelling that much.)
I hope you enjoy looking at those mundane impressions of life in the old days.
