So I downloaded Fallout 1 of the internet and tried to get it to work with DOS Box. I mounted it in the C:\ Drive and all and tried to get the .EXE running when some message popped up, which said,
"C:\FALLOUTW EXE
This is a windows NT windows exutable"
What does this mean? How do I fix it? Oh please, I miss playing Fallout!
DOS Help? Fallout 1.

The answer is very simple: you don't need DOSBox for this game as it requires Windows to run.

The W in "FALLOUTW" probably stands for Windows. If you use Windows, just run it without DOSBox. If you use Linux or a Mac, use Wine.
Today entirely the maniac there is no excuse with the article.

Re: DOS Help? Fallout 1.
A proper dos version of Fallout can be installed using the DOS installer on the Fallout CD.
..............obviously you don't own this Fallout CD.
Also, it's not on the Good old Games version either.
