I couldn't anything special, but I haven't checked them in too much detail ;)

BTW, do you have the updated catalogue of your collection available? Also you've mentioned that the software you use to do the catalogues can grab contents of either readme files or archives, I forgot which. Did that actually work?

I haven't updated it in a while. I'm so busy scanning magazines (one mag per day). And it can look into archives ;)

Here is a bunch of late 80s, early 90s files from the USCX BBS to play around with from. Some of this was in my previous archive, but this one has more files. A lot of old BASIC games, shareware utils, etc.

Resurrecting this thread with the bad news that I lost EVERY single file I transferred from hundreds of these old floppies when I had to reformat my PC. Backups lost. Hopefully somebody out there has another set of these disks, but unlikely. I never uploaded them all anywhere and the disks have since been recycled. :o

Try to look at computer and electronic stores. There are some gems left out there that are on clearance for a penny or such. I remember looking in my collection and my cousin somehow got a DOS era game from CompUSA priced at a penny on clearance. I guess these stores are trying to rid their stores of old "obsolete" stock.

God bless.

Try this link: I believe they have thousands of free public domain as well as commercial games or whatnot collected over the years that the original publishers have released as freeware even though they are commercial quality. As the pirates say "Enjoy legally in this time and age! hehe"

Great news! I found the files. :D When I had upgraded my PC and reformatted everything, I left behind a smaller hard drive, which I brought to my place of work. I had failed to copy everything off this hard disk when I transferred files, including the shareware archive. It was still there at work after a year or two. I am very happy.

Once I get these synchronized to Dropbox I will share a RAR archive.

Jesus Christ!hehe

I know that is a lot of work. However I know one person in particular who would love those sharewares especially if the copyright permission could be obtained for them or if the author has made it freewares.

Thank you Jesus Christ!

I know I depend on public assistance. So because I already get welfare I am giving my work here for free. It is as if you had paid the author for my source codes and programs.

Good news indeed! Did you just copy the files from the floppies, or did you make disk images?
