A GamesDomain FTP mirror preserved by the Wayback Machine:
http://ftp.sunet.se/pub/pc/games/gamesdomain/

Also the WM archived older states of ftp.funet.fi (some files are now removed):

A few more game FTP notes:

Backup of Sierra's old FTP: ftp://ftp.tpsa.pl/pub/sites/ftp3.sierra.com/
Backup of Cavedog's/Humongous' FTP: https://archive.org/details/ftp_cavedog.com
Backup of Novalogic's FTP: https://archive.org/details/FTP.NOVALOGIC.COM.2014.12
Backup of Intelligent Systems' FTP: http://www.mediafire.com/download/2f8as ... -11-08.rar

Some URL's of old game FTP's that's dead nowadays I can think of:

ftp.epicgames.com
ftp.interplay.com/ftp1.interplay.com
ftp.maxis.com
ftp.sir-tech.com
ftp.spidweb.com/ftp.spiderwebsoftware.com
ftp.vie.com

Internet Archive has backup's of many files for Interplay's old FTP, but I was unable to download most of them for some reason, though some did work.

ftp.games.skynet.be has removed all FTP mirrors. :(
I managed to save ftp.blizzard.com and ftp.bioware.com at least.

EDIT: Added adresses for Spiderweb Software's old FTP
EDIT 2: Added mirror for Intelligent Systems' old FTP

Thanks for the links and information! I know some of the links I had posted before do not work any more, regrettably.

Glad to help! :) Yup, fortunately most of the links you posted are still live or backed up. Some of them though, like BioWare's FTP (that was on ftp.games.skynet.be) seems to be unavailable at the moment, I still have it backed up on my HDD complete with original filestamps. I'm trying to preserve endangered FTP sites on my HDD (3 TB) at the moment and I'm thinking about uploading them to the Internet Archive or somewhere later.
Loosely related, I also have lots of Demo CD's and DVD's in my apartment that I recieved with PC game Magazines that I used to subscribe to that are not backed up on the Internet. I will also try to make images of those and upload Before it's too late. I encourage everyone to do the same.

This is great! You should probably contact Hallfiry about you magazine cover CD collection as well.

Sure thing, I will send a PM to Hallfiry and see if he's interested in any of my cover discs for his KultCD's website.

No probs, I'm just happy it comes to any more use than collecting dust. :D
I'm collecting Swedish cover disks myself, but they seems very hard to find nowadays, so if anyone has got any of the ones that I'm missing, please don't throw them in the garbage bin, since I'm interested in them!
There was an exclusive 170mb demo of KKnD 2 at Svenska PC Gamer #20 Juli 1998, though I'm not sure if I can find the actual disc. If anyone could help track it down, I'm sure both Hallfiry and I would be very grateful!

Interesting! Do you know if there was some extra content like unique levels, or just more stuff compared to the regular demo (things like intro cinematic etc.)?

Sorry, can't say I do. I Think I used to have that disc, though I never installed that particular demo. Didn't Think about it until I sent Hallfiry a bunch of scanned Swedish PC Gamer covers, and he notified me about it. I looked for those discs themselves at my home, but could only find a few of them, that one not included. I know I had a lot more PC Gamer, most of them are hopefully left at my parents Place, though there's a risk that this and other discs has disappered. One of the CD cases I found lying in my storage was lacking the disc itself, who knows where that one Went. It's a bad sign anyway. I'm asking friends I know who used to have PC Gamer discs, sadly so far everyone I talked to threw them away at the garbage dump sooner or later. :(
