Now that we have touched the subject of downloading shareware and demo stuff, I thought that it would be better to have a single thread for links to file repositories, rather than have them scattered all over the classic gaming websites thread.

Oh thank you! I just didn't realize until recently that The Wayback Machine has so many files archived from the nineties :)

Yeah you're doing some amazing work digging those up. Just wanted to notify you of the fact that the Web Archive used to have a 1MB file size limit sometime in the year 2000 and earlier so a few of the files that you've linked that are over 1 MB in size are corrupt (e.g. Hexen).

They are? Aww. Well, at least we know about the official file names and locations, and that they were downloadable from the publisher or the developer.
