Looking for "Kings Bounty" and "Might and Magic II"

I had these two games (Kings Bounty and Might and Magic II) for my Apple//GS, and love them. But I got rid of that computer, and these two games went with it. Anyway, I was hoping to find them on this site, download and play them again. Can anyone help me?

That's a no for several reasons. The purpose of this forum is to help people figure out the name of games that they used to play, not to help people illegally acquire copyrighted software. Even if it were legal for me to put those games on the site, I still couldn't because those are Apple II games, not PC games. I recommend eBay or Amazon.

I'm sorry if I broke code for the forum that I posted my question in, I did not mean for myself or anyone else to do anything illegal. I appologize for my post, it will not happen again.

Don't sweat it! The prevailing theory on the internet is that anything that is no longer sold can be legally shared online. I understand that from the "no harm, no foul" perspective that it doesn't harm the copyright holder... if they truly are no longer making money off of it, which they sometimes are. But legally, the copyright on most software is 75 years, and I can't let the forum be used for openly violating copyright law.

I sympathize with the desire to play these games again without having to wait another 50 years, which is why I try to contact copyright holders about licensing their games as freeware, or making them available for sale again. It sometimes works.

And, unfortunatly, Kings Bounty (the Apple//GS version) is not available on Amazon or Ebay. Qute a bummer, but the game is old - came out around 1989-1990 - I guess I'm out of luck. I looked at DosBox but am not familiar with how that site works.

DOSBox is a DOS emulator. You must supply your own games, and it won't run Apple II software.

BTW, there's a Russian Ukrainian unofficial sequel to King's Bounty by Sergei Prokofiev that runs under DOS. It uses custom graphics, and introduces some changes to gameplay mechanics.

As for Might and Magic II, take a look at some possible free or shareware alternatives ot this game here.

[Edit] I've posted a link to the shareware free version of King's Bounty 2 here.
