In the interest of transparency and full disclosure, all site-related income and expenses are entered into the public record. I try to include only expenses that are exclusively for the benefit of websites owned and operated by Classic DOS Games. I've made many purchases (specifically, computer upgrades) that I probably wouldn't have made if not for this web site, but they are not included because I enjoy the benefit of those purchases outside of the maintenance and operation of the site.

The Baby package was necessary because Hatchling only allows one domain, while the Baby package allows unlimited domains.
$89.91	Three 3 month web hosting packages with 1&1 ($9.99/month). The Business package includes 2500 GB of bandwidth per month, 250 GB of storage, and includes includes 3 free domain names. This package was necessary to allow SSI, which never ended up working.

It takes this site weeks to use as much bandwidth as it's entitled to use in a single day. This was the best deal I could find, and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for webhosting. $573.50	Games and operating systems for the DOSHPS. It's very difficult to estimate how much the software actually cost me since it was purchased over a period of about 10 years. Most games were purchased for $3 to $5 each at the Salvation Army Thrift Store and Goodwill, though some were purchased new for up to $60. Most operating systems were purchased new for up to $200, though some were purchased at thrift stores for $5 to $10, and one was given to me for free. These prices don't include 15% sales tax. For the purposes of the foundation of the DOSHPS, I am using a low-ball estimate of $3.50 per game ($213.50) and $30.00 per operating system ($360.00) to sell my collection to the DOSHPS. Note that this doesn't represent a profit for me as an individual since I paid for the collection originally.
